This engagement ring is handcrafted using a genuine black fire opal gemstone set into a 925 Sterling Silver Ring setting with white gold or rhodium finish over to provide superior protection against tarnish and micro scratches. The ring is paved with natural topaz accent stones to highlight the beauty of the center gemstone: an oval cut 9x7 black opal that features vibrant multicolored fire flashing with bright colors under the light source with some red coloring visible in each individual opal as well as other shades including green, blue , yellow, orange and more over the darker base tone - the necessary main color which provides the necessary contrast for the fire to be observed as the light source creates a beautiful moving image that never looks exactly the same with artificial indoor lighting being a more optimal choice to see the full spectrum of colors in any natural opal.
High quality natural opal will continue to show colors even in the natural light: something that always makes any genuine opal appear darker with more subtle intensity of the fire colors.

General description of an opal offered in this listing which you should expect:

▪️A flash of vivid red fire amongst a wide spectrum of other colors => opal coloring is MULTICOLORED and includes SOME RED but other colors as well.
Red is being the most searched after rare shade in a natural opal often determining its value along with the ability to maintain its appearance under natural light and not only in the artificial lighting environment where it reveals its often hidden array of colors which you see in the listing images.

The opals shows incredibly bright deep green and vivid orange as the two predominant colors with orange shifting from yellow to red with the change in angle or lighting intensity resembling actual flame 🔥.

▪️If you select a coloring menu option which says “DARK RED FIRE” which means that the red color is going to be the most visible shade but the general coloring is too dark to allow other shades to be as visible as the red. This is the only color that is available which is actually not very bright or vibrant and has dark red overall theme over darker base tone - something that should be ADEQUATELY UNDERSTOOD IN TERMS OF HAVING THE CORRECT EXPECTATIONS FROM YOUR ORDER THAT WILL HAVE A GEMSTONE THAT LOOKS LIKE ONE OR TWO PHOTOS IN THE LISTING AND NOT LIKE THE MAIN PHOTO.
