Black opal and Smoked Opal are NOT THE SAME THING!

Chances of damaging your opal if it is permanently set into a jewelry setting increase if it is exposed to cold and hot temperatures by suddenly and rapidly changing its outside environment. ( Getting out of the car to some place warm (office, restaurant) is fine, but watching the Ball Drop in NYC to celebrate New Year's Eve will destroy your opal as will shoveling snow before getting inside your car or walking your dog in the subzero temperature with the opals still on)

The item you will receive is going to LOOK DIFFERENT from the listing photos and videos, but THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NORMAL and is to be expected from any natural opal due to its very nature and physical properties

Moissanite may look darker or lighter in photos and videos compared to the real life color that it has.

This is expected and is caused by a variety of factors such as different monitor settings, camera angles, time of day, lighting environment and the amount of light in a certain photo.

Please keep in mind that some color differences might be present in your jewelry, and there’s no way to guarantee that the color is represented exactly as it appears in real life no matter what we do and what gemstone is being photographed.

So, please allow some variation for the color of your moissanite jewelry, and remember that I am always there to help you with your questions and concerns.
